Shadowfist US Championships, Part Deux?

Ok, the final decision; Due to the main Shadowfist event at DexCon 8 being announced in so many places as the US Championships, it will be keeping this status…partially. DexCon 8 will be hosting the second half of the US Championship, with the fist half taking place at Origins 2005. Each event will be independent of the other, with the winner of each event being granted a one-round bye in the World Championships at GenCon Indy.

While I get back in the swing of things keeping the site updated, I thought I’d drop some news on ya about upcoming events Dark Edge will be involved in running.

The first is DexCon 8, from July 13th to the 17th. DEG will be there coordinating their entire CCG track and running events to boot. We’ll be hosting three large events, including:

  • L5R Shrine of Good Fortune 2005 - One of DEG/Double Exposure’s THREE yearly L5R cash tournaments, with a $500 prize!
  • Shadowfist East Coast Regional Championship - The winner of this event will receive a one-round bye in the Shadowfist World Championships at GenCon Indy.
  • Warlord Dragon’s Hoard Tournament, featuring the Warlord World Conquest - Play Warlord and earn ranking points against players from all over the world! There will also be a $100 cash prize, and top finishers will receive a shot at a Dragonlord!

There will also be more events over the course of the four-day event, including tournaments for Magic: The Gathering, Spycraft, Yu-Gi-Oh! and more! Once the schedule is complete and compiled, you’ll be able to view it HERE.
